Description

An incycler runs the recycling loop inside the main chamber rather than through external arms. Water and vapour circulate continuously, which cools the vapour thoroughly and — the practical benefit — makes splashback essentially impossible no matter how hard you pull.

It is the smoothest way to take a dab short of a full recycler, in a body that is far less fragile than one with external tubing.

Running it

• Water level matters more than on a simple rig. Too much and the loop floods; too little and it will not cycle. Fill slowly and test.
• Change the water every session — a cloudy incycler is very visible.
• Clean weekly with isopropyl and coarse salt, plugging both openings and shaking so the solution reaches the internal loop.
