What is THC-P?

THC-P (tetrahydrocannabiphorol) is a hemp-derived cannabinoid with a longer carbon side chain than delta-9, which binds more readily to CB1 receptors — in practice, products feel significantly stronger at smaller amounts. Most THC-P products blend it with delta-8, delta-9 or THC-A for a rounded effect. New to THC-P? Start with a fraction of your usual amount and wait a full hour before more, especially with edibles.

Is THC-P legal?

THC-P derived from compliant hemp is federally legal under the 2018 Farm Bill, but state laws differ and are changing — always check yours.

How strong is it compared to delta-9?

Meaningfully stronger by weight. Treat any labeled milligram amount as more potent than the same amount of delta-9.

Will it show on a drug test?

Assume yes. THC metabolites from any THC product can trigger a positive result.
