Description
A stash box solves the other storage problem: not freshness, but everything being in a different drawer. Grinder, papers, tray, lighter and jar in one lidded container that you can put away as a unit.
What to keep in it
- A grinder, papers and tips, a small tray, a lighter.
- An airtight jar for the material itself — a box is not airtight on its own.
Why storage matters
Material degrades through light, air and heat. An airtight, opaque container in a cool cupboard keeps it fresh for months; a plastic bag on a windowsill dries it out in a fortnight and strips the terpenes that give it any smell. Around 59–62% relative humidity is the target — a two-way humidity pack inside a sealed jar holds that for a couple of months.
