Human Grade 4 Piece Aluminum W/ Rubber Grinder

Description

The Human Grade four-piece with a rubberised grip band around the lid. Grip is the practical difference: a full grinder with sticky material in it takes real force to turn, and a smooth aluminium lid slips.

What you get

• Four chambers: lid, grinding teeth, collection chamber, kief catcher
• Mesh screen separating the collection chamber from the kief catcher
• Diamond-cut teeth in staggered rows
• Magnetic lid
• Deep threading that keeps turning when full

Getting a better grind

Fill to about two-thirds. An overpacked grinder jams and gives an uneven grind. Turn a few times, then flip the whole grinder upside down and turn again — gravity stops the finished material being ground into dust. Dry material grinds cleanly; sticky material is easier if you chill the grinder for 20 minutes first.

The kief catcher

The bottom chamber collects the trichomes that fall through the mesh screen. Tap it out with a scraper once a month and sprinkle it over a bowl, or press it.

Care

If it gets stiff to turn, that is resin on the threads — wipe them with an isopropyl-dampened cloth and it turns like new. Do not soak an aluminium grinder for long periods; the anodising does not like it.
