Description

A 510 cartridge battery in the Downstem Soaker housing. Cartridge loads internally, standard 510 thread, USB charging.

Standard 510 thread with fixed internal clearance — measure your cartridge first, particularly if it is a 2G.

Getting the most from a 510 battery

• Run at the lowest voltage that still produces vapour — usually the lowest or middle setting. High voltage burns the coil, scorches the oil and causes the burnt taste people blame on the cartridge.
• Take short draws of two to three seconds with a pause between them so the coil can cool.
• Do not overtighten the cartridge. Finger-tight is enough; forcing it damages the contact pin and is the most common cause of a battery that stops reading a cart.
• Charge before it runs completely flat, and use the cable supplied rather than a fast charger.
