Nearly all cartridges use the 510 thread, so compatibility is rarely an issue — what matters is power and features. Variable voltage (usually 2.4–4.0 V) lets you trade flavor (low) for vapor (high). A preheat mode warms thick oil so it wicks properly and doesn’t clog. Higher mAh means fewer charges: 350 mAh is a solid daily pen, 650+ mAh for heavy use. Buttonless auto-draw batteries are simplest; button models give more control.
