AWS BL-150-Chrome-SE – 150g x 0.01g

Description

The BL-150 in a chrome special edition finish. Same 150 g by 0.01 g spec as the standard pocket scales, with a flip-open lid that doubles as a draught shield and protects the platform in a bag.

Specification

• Capacity: 150 g
• Readability: 0.01 g
• Functions: tare, unit conversion, auto-off
• Display: backlit LCD
• Power: batteries

Getting accurate readings

• Use it on a hard, level surface — never a carpet, a bed or your lap.
• Let it settle and read zero before loading anything.
• Use tare to subtract a tray or container rather than doing the maths.
• Keep it away from draughts, vibration and phone chargers.
• Recalibrate with the supplied or a known weight if readings start to drift.

Looking after it

Close the lid before it goes in a bag — pressure on the platform is what kills load cells. Take the batteries out if it will sit unused for months, and wipe the platform with a dry cloth rather than spraying it.
