D-TEK DIGITAL SCALE -30G

Description

30 g by 0.001 g — the finest resolution in the D-TEK range. For very small amounts where a hundredth of a gram is too coarse. Use it on a hard, level surface away from draughts.

Specification

• Capacity: 30 g
• Readability: 0.001 g
• Functions: tare, unit conversion, auto-off
• Display: backlit LCD
• Power: batteries

Getting accurate readings

• Use it on a hard, level surface — never a carpet, a bed or your lap.
• Let it settle and read zero before loading anything.
• Use tare to subtract a tray or container rather than doing the maths.
• Keep it away from draughts, vibration and phone chargers.
• Recalibrate with the supplied or a known weight if readings start to drift.

Looking after it

Close the lid before it goes in a bag — pressure on the platform is what kills load cells. Take the batteries out if it will sit unused for months, and wipe the platform with a dry cloth rather than spraying it.
